Project Description:
The city of Jiamusi in the North-Western Heilongjiang Province implements the Jiaxi wastewater treatment project for the Western city districts with a capacity of 100,000 m³/d. The treatment process comprises advanced biological treatment according to the activated sludge process supplemented by a filtration stage in order to comply with the advanced treatment standards. The investment for the electro-mechanical equipment and dedicated parts of the civil structures are co-financed by KfW Development Bank.
Sustainable disposal of the sewage sludge is the particular focus within the frame of the project.
